Dapple & Bay was born out of a search for minimalist yet colourful bridal jewellery which could also be worn on casual days. With elegance and versatility as key principles, the designs focus on showcasing the beauty of the gemstones themselves, especially the lesser known ones.

Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia but now living in Oxford, UK, I grew up surrounded by a creative family. Gifts were often crafted or painted, as that labour of love makes it all the more special. I have always had a fascination for gemstones, obtaining my Graduate Gemologist qualification at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) in between the different parts of my architecture education. Fast forward several years, I now work as an architect but the pull towards gems and making things with my hands is too difficult to resist!
